Figures

Eight figures are included. Figures 1a–1e describe period prevalence of identified cases of diabetes mellitus among patients hospitalized in facilities operated by the New York State Office of Mental Health, by year. Figures 2a and 2b describe the annual incidence of newly identified cases of diabetes mellitus among patients hospitalized in these facilities, by year. Figure 3 describes the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in 2003 among patients hospitalized in these facilities compared with estimates for the general population of New York State.
